The Koss speakers deliver great sound with bass boosting option to whatever you play from through the separate speakers that have 70 cords attached to each for optimal spacing distance. They use 4 C batteries if there’s no electricity (AC). Unfortunately, I no longer have the manual for them. Both players are programmable for favorite tracks, repeat and random play as well as other features specific to each one individually with the manuals included. The SONY Discman includes a car connecting pack for power and playback through your cassette player or a 1/8 auxiliary input jack, a SONY CPM -401P car mount adapter to prevent skipping (I bought this piece separately) and an AC adapter for power instead of 2 AA batteries. I also included a free set of earphones. It is really a great CD player my Dad hardly used. Can’t forget the travel case which is large enough to hold everything. Including 48 CD’s without jewel cases (13″ x 10″ x 9) , has zippered compartments, an inside pouch, an adjustable carrying strap and is water repellent.
