I actually have two different similar boomboxes listed separately, both recently acquired from the personal storage unit of a Japanese business man that worked for Pepsi Co, Japan many years ago. There were tons of amazing treasures that looked like they came from his office or home, among them personal awards, employee only promotional items & various collectibles. I was only able to acquire a handful of items, the coolest of which being these two portable music players! This listing is for the w hite & red/pink colored boombox. I cant tell if the pink part is faded red or is supposed to be pink, but it looks cool either way! I also have a blue one listed separately. Both of them are in great physical condition & tested working! They are large & kinda heavy, and seem like high quality electronics with a sticker on the bottom from Pepsi, Co. The bottom battery compartment opens up and also holds the power cord inside. There are some minor scuffs but overall still look awesome! I havent been able to find any record of these online anywhere, so they were likely never available outside of Japan, or were perhaps only given to Pepsi employees. Whatever their origin is, they are certainly fascinating collectibles & would make a flashy addition to any collection!
