Tested and working, in good cosmetic condition – see pictures for details. Little bit dusty here and there but no plastic damage. I have also treated the tape decks to a new set of belts. All functions have been tested with only a couple of small issues. The pause button on the recording cassette deck doesn’ t work. There is a small part that has come off the back of the mechanism which is rattling around inside the case somewhere which needs putting back on in order to make it work. As hardly anyone records off the radio these days I have left it be but the part should be in there somewhere if you feel the need to repair it. On the same deck I had to carry out a repair on the door closing mechanism. A very small plastic tab had broken off the door release catch which meant it was free to wobble about instead of running flush when you press the eject button. If you look at the last photo you will see I have added a plastic strip to act as a guide for this catch to keep it running straight. The deck now closes but you have to shut it quite hard in order for it to latch, not ideal but at least it is servicable. Other than the issues described this is a great sounding retro boombox.
