This boombox has a voltage changer on the back of the unit, it is set to 120v at this time but you can always change it to 240v if you travel somewhere there’s 240v power. Panasonic DS40 Boombox
Stylish, elegant and powerful portable stereo with an eye-catching design. Top of this line portable stereo systems. Cassette deck, Radio, CD player and powerful amplifier with speakers. Bass strong but accurate, articulated mids, vocals, and jazz sound clear and warm. Old rock sounds great. I’m missing the remote but you might be able to find one elsewhere. Concentrates all buttons and controls in the front, including direct access to all songs in the CD and program. The volume pot is very nice and it’s motorized cool feature! It rotated when you change the volume from the remote. CD with softly opened door. It features a 2-DAC with 4 times oversampling. Read recorded CD without issues. Songs playback can be programmed. Cassette deck with full autoreverse. Play and record functions. The amplifier seems powerful (22W total, 11Wx2). Just by setting the volume to 3-4, a well-recorded tape sounds pretty loud. The separated speakers in their acoustic resonance box really help in getting the best response as well as much better stereo separation than the common boomboxes (that share the entire internal space to both speakers). Tone adjustment on the front panel. Power: DC battery “D”/RL20, AC 120v. This why SM is a cool thing. What included for this sale. Panasonic stereo system rxds40, power cable. This thing is really really cool I almost don’t want to part with it. Takes a lot of batteries but a power cable is also included. Just to be clear, no remote included.
