JVC RC-X3 CD Portable System 1988 Read Description
Fully functional but the CD player doesn’t always power itself on (watch video). Once the CD player registers and the screen displays information, it works flawlessly for hours (tested). But if you switch from Tape or Radio to CD or power it on while it’s on CD it takes time to start up (the disc doesn’t spin either but once it does and the screen registers, it’s good to go). Tape player works great but the “eject” buttons don’t work. The boom box is overall in good shape but it definitely shows wear. I think the disc reading mechanism is fine, there must just be a short somewhere. See pictures for a better detail of the condition. VINTAGE 80s 1988 PANASONIC RX-DT50 BOOMBOX Portable Cassette Vertical CD Player
Vintage 1988 boombox from Panasonic. This boombox is working condition and ready for its next owner to enjoy. It has some visual wear from being 37 years old. Scratches and some scuffs – see photos. One speaker cover is slightly dented. The cd player’play’ does not work but the unit will play cd’s by pressing the track # on top. Cd display looks to be not showing a top line of lines, see last photo. It sounds great on radio, tape or CD. Pretty nice shape for the age. Also comes with the Power Cord but could run off batteries.
