Panasonic Ghettoblaster Portable CD/Cassette/Radio Player Model No. I thought this had been given away without my knowledge. Really glad I found it, I may keep it if it doesn’t sell. This features CD, Cassette and Radio functions. It has Xbass which allows you to adjust how’bassy’ the sound is. This is actually really handy if you don’t want to disturb people in other rooms just as much. It also has MASH, I have no idea what that is though, lol. The good thing about this version is that it has the button controls for volume and tuner functions. The lower model had a more analogue feature. Obviously it has the standard features like volume control, play/pause, on/off etc. The item comes with a fully working remote control and original power cable. As it is 22 years old it has some scuffs and marks but nothing too bad. One of the speakers has a dent in it but this isn’t too noticable and doesn’t affect the sound or use of the player. Again as it’s pretty old there is some dust inside the speaker mesh which you can probably make out in the photos. To be expected with age and doesn’t affect the sound. It can be used with batteries also, however I have never tried this as it’s easily plugged in via a socket. IMPORTANT: The 3 buttons TUNER/TAPE/CD don’t fucntion quite right. The Tape button never seems to work and the CD/Tuner buttons can be a little temperamental. THE ITEM WORKS FULLY WITH REMOTE. There should be no issues there. Good points: Good overall condition Remote and power cord supplied Great sound and Panasonic reliability Bad Points: Dent in speaker mesh A little dusty in places Remote has 2 chips as pictured Remote had leaking batteries removed but still works fully.
