CD plays, but is very sensitive to skipping. At times if unit is not handled/touched CD will play fine, but if you lightly touch, it will skip. Other times it skips without touching. To close CD door you need to firmly press down on close button with your finger. Seems to me the CD door is not closing evenly on one corner, and this could be causing the sensitive skipping (just my opinion)? Unit shows some scratches and markings from use. I’ve given the unit a good wipe down, but will require additional cleaning. Very tip of antenna is broken. Comes with AC power cord. Unit operates on 8 D batteries (not included). I have not tested with batteries, as I do not have 8 D cells. One of the battery contacts had some corrosion, and I’ve cleaned it.
